Habibi Habibi … DIY Vintage Arabic Movie Posters

I’ve been so slack lately with writing some little articles because I’m actually staying home and trying to save money while aiming at less partying in the lead up to Ramadan.

So I decided to make my next article the top 5 money saving fun ideas for the summer…

In preparation for that, I’d like to share my latest DIY home decor.

Living here in the Middle East, my home decor is eclectic, usually encompassing pieces I find across the globe. Redecorating my house on a serious budget I wanted to mix my modern furniture with vintage Arabic movie posters to at least bring a flair of the Arabian side in my home.

To buy a poster from eBay or to even find them are impossible here. Here is a little tip and how I’ve done these …

I searched and searched google and Tumblr for people who have the same love as me. With some amazing finds (they don’t need to be huge size as you are only printing A4), I had my collection.

Printing at your local printer like Desco are 10aed a print on Matte card. I chose the art frames from Ikea for 35aed.

The result an art piece for under 50aed.
